There's nothing a human can say to alleviate the pain you both are going thru right now. In the chance of sounding like a goober, I am going to tell you something "The Pet Psychic" (that nice old British lady on Animal Planet several years ago)said that helped, not healed, but helped me. She said our pets stay with us even after they pass and if you didn't get to say goodbye (which I didn't), they know you love them and they love you. And I have to say, sometimes I get a flash of a spottystripey "something" in the corner of my eye and when I turn my head to look, there's nothing there. I like to think it's a visit from my Buzzer-butt. She also said that pets know when their time is, and appreciate our efforts, but they know and forgive us for being only human and wanting to hold on to a very special and loved little furry being.
but how did you do that line with your name and the link to my blog? Never saw that before. Now if you could include your email address we'd be "cooking"
How's the vegetarian thing going? I end up eating the same thing for two or three days, have a salad day and then make something else and eat that for two or three days. I don't think I'm getting enough protein.
