Confession

I LOVE the new Britney Spears album. Who am I kidding? I love all of Britney's albums.

I especially love If You Seek Amy (so clever with the sound alike words spelling f.u.c.k. me) and Unusual You. You should download or buy the actual cd.

I also really enjoyed her documentary on MTV. She breaks my heart a little bit. She wonders why some stars are able to go to the grocery store and she can't. And clearly she cannot, I see the 15+ cars waiting to follow her every move.

It amazes me that teens and others (meaning you, of course) would still support that slut even after all that's been said and done! For whom should she be a role model? For Paris Hylton????

It amazes me even more that she had all the money (millions of us can only dream of it)in the world to change her life and image and instead she managed to grovel even lower than dirt itself.
She came out of the trailer but the trailer is still in her.

Now she only looks like an older tired slut. Why bother? ahhhhhhh, the money of course.

Just because someone comes from a low income background and gets famously incomed doesn't make them a slut. There are plenty of people whose mental health and income issues are not on the front page of every frickin' tabloid. Bri-brit just happens to be unfortunate enough to have to live her life in front of a camera. I'll bet you, ms anonymous, have loads of issues you'd rather not share with the rest of the world. Starting with your amazing judgmental abilities.

Yeah, I might have my own set of demons and who doesn't, BUT I don't go around splashing my private parts on tabloids front pages and neither would I be doing SLUTTY things so that tabloids would have a field day. Do you think her twit of an ex would have been able to get the kids so easily if half of it wasn't true? And, I am being generous in my judgement and reserved in my comments.
She is and will always be trash...she has now achieved a new all time low of being a sleezy 'old' trash.
Would you want your teen and pre-teen daughters emulating her????uh??????

As I said, you don't have cameras following you around 24/7. Who knows, maybe if you did, some of your private parts would get snapped, blown-up, and parsed over. Not to mention any dating faux-pax, drunken booty calls, and other wonderful things that might be happening to ole regular folk you, but you get to keep those moments to yourself and/or close friends instead of the rest of the world. As as to being a role model, how many preteens, tweens, and teenagers are dealing with the very same issues - sex, drugs, abuse, mental health issues like bi-polar, PTSS, and being a parent/caregiver too young? Granted they aren't dealing with the upper echelon tax bracket, but everyone has issues not cameras in their face. Sure being young famous and rich was fun for a while but now she doesn't have a choice about being splashed on the tabloid covers, you however do. How many times have you made a "whoopsie" and if there'd been shutterbugs around, we'd get a chance to see a little sumpin'sumpin'? And yes, she can be a role model, of the things you'd like your children to avoid.

Well, I wouldn't exactly say Brittany is a good role model but she has proven that just because you have it all on the outside and all the material things life can still be hard and it's not perfect for ANYBODY!! She has been a young lost person who deserves to have a life with the passion she wants and privacy she deserves. She deserves to dress how she wants, she's allowed to be an individual~after all this is The good ol' USA! I've taught my kids that music, fame, actors etc...is something to love and enjoy but don't live by who or what you see or hear on the radio or tv. You are who you are, you love yourself for who you are and be happy and comfortable in your own skin! I've never censored my kids from anything. They are around adults who cuss, yet don't cuss themselves. My oldest is on National Honor Society, enjoys sports, listening to uncensored Eminem, uncensored rap and even country music ~ she is an incredible 16 year old who is popular, who is well rounded and adjust to what life has to through at her.(being a military brat helps as we encounter a lot of variety) Guess what! She even used to play with sleezy looking Bratz dolls and my daughter dresses like a total respectable adorable teenager!! She even wants to be a pediatrician! Be real and open with your kids and they won't want to be like everybody else ie...Brittany Spears, Bratz, Miley Cyrus or even Hannah Montana~you get my point. Just my 2 cents...sorry I went on and on...and might have even went waaaay off base but again, my 2 cents. :-D Hugs Joanna!! BTW this is Jamie (ps I can't get logged on to my username)
